National Rebuilding Day is Coming!
Monday, Mar. 12, 2012

RTGLA is looking for individuals and groups to help keep residents of Los Angeles warm, safe, and dry.

Join us for National Rebuilding Day on Saturday April 28th! Rebuilding Together is the nation's leading nonprofit that uses volunteers to rehabilitate homes and revitalize communities. And nationally they are connecting 250,000 volunteers to touch over 8000 homes for National Rebuilding Day. We'd like YOU to join the effort!

The day will start bright and early with an introduction to the community we will be working in and our goals for the day.

We will then separate into smaller groups and get to work! Some spaces will need more attention than others but your skills will be put to good use.

Lunch will be provided.

New to Rehab? That’s ok! We are looking for volunteers who can serve as:

-Preppers - prepare the areas for paint by taping and draping

-Runners – essential to our efficiency! Bringing needed materials on site to other volunteers

-Cleaners -help us stay organized and safe

-Painters –Get out those old jeans and beautify these spaces

-Planters – Enjoy Spring with some light landscaping and gardening

Have some professional experience with rebuilding? We’d love your help with:

-Flooring Installation

-Plumbing

-Dry Wall

-Electrical

-Cabinet Installation

-Painting

Apply here and we will get you all set up!
